Nikita Van den bosch (1995) is an artist based in the town of Boom, Belgium. She’s an illustrator and ceramist whose work beams with joy and color. Her distinctive artistic style is defined by cute characters, dreamy worlds, and a vibrant color palette.

Nikita graduated with a Master’s degree in Illustration from Sint Lucas Antwerp School of Arts in 2017. Shortly after, she spent four months studying in  Tokyo Japan, a journey that deeply influenced her creative voice.

Her work is inspired by a magical blend of fairy tales, surrealism, and Japanese culture. Whether she’s working digitally or experimenting with traditional techniques, Nikita’s signature style always shines through. Her artistic repertoire includes ceramics, screen printing, and painting, reflecting her curiosity and love for exploring new mediums.

Beyond her artistic practice, Nikita has a big heart for Japanese culture, cute fashion, traveling, and — of course — cats, who make frequent appearances in her illustrations and ceramics!

She’s also an active volunteer with the TUIG organization, which supports illustrators and graphic designers through exhibitions, markets, podcasts, and a free illustration newspaper. Some of the projects she’s contributed to include the TUIG Market and the “Poezen in het Bos” exhibition in Antwerp.

Nikita’s recent accomplishments include creating window paintings for the Ensor Year celebration and a mural for Fiberklaar in Aartselaar, inspired by Alice in Wonderland. In the same whimsical theme, she completed her ceramics studies with a large tea set worthy of a Mad Hatter tea party.

Alongside her personal work, Nikita also shares her knowledge and passion through ceramics workshops, where she teaches others the joy of working with clay and encourages them to explore their own creativity.
